TOUCAN Cancer Services User Group was established in 2005 to influence the quality of cancer services in Guernsey. The group provides an informal opportunity for people affected by cancer to work together with a common goal to improve cancer care on the island.
The Health and Social Services Department were keen for the group to act as a liaison between them and cancer patients and their families. Toucan is independent of the HSSD but will have meetings with senior management in order to pass on your views and suggestions.
It is important that the views of cancer patients and their families are used to help develop cancer services for the benefit of everyone. We want to hear the views of as many people as possible and are always looking for more people to join the group.
